Introducing….. Our U16 GK and U16 coach

Charlie and Jon

A huge Happy Birthday goes to our U16 GK Charlie.

Charlie is one of original players back when we started 6 years ago “Rhino” six years ago along with Caleb and Kayden …. And it is the foundation of our team.

Jon, an experienced coach for many years, both Pan Disability and mainstream, is an asset to Barnwood Utd AFC Pan Disability.

Here are Charlie and Jon at one of our recent tournaments.

- All coaches and volunteers will be DBS-checked and trained in safeguarding.

Welfare Officer will be available to handle concerns. - We promote a zero-tolerance policy on bullying, discrimination, and abuse.

4. Coaching Philosophy

- Age-appropriate training focused on fun, creativity, and learning. - Equal playing time for all children, regardless of ability. - Encouragement over criticism • we build confidence, not pressure.

5. Parental Involvement

- Parents are encouraged to support positively from the sidelines. - Respect for coaches decisions and club policies is expected. - Opportunities for parents to volunteer and contribute to the club community.
