Today, we’re celebrating chefs all over the world, and especially the incredible culinary stars in our Aria Care homes.

Every day, our chefs create delicious seasonal dishes with warmth, care, and creativity. Their dedication doesn’t just nourish, it brings joy, comfort, and a real sense of home to our residents. We can’t thank them enough for the passion and excellence they bring to every meal.

Today, on World Food Day, we celebrate the food we serve, but also our chefs who craft seasonal dishes that ensure each meal looks appealing, and is healthy and satisfying. Aria Care's catering teams don't just cook food, they create meals that are nutritious, and reminiscent of home cooking. They plan meticulously, catering to everyone's tastes and dietary needs, using fresh, quality ingredients.

We believe that mealtimes are about more than food; they’re moments of joy, creativity, and connection, that bring our communities to life.

One of this year’s themes is about prioritising mental health in the workplace, something we are deeply committed to across all our homes.

As the care sector continues to evolve, we’re introducing new ways to support mental health and emotional wellbeing, with support available to all colleagues, whenever it’s needed.

Whether it’s a personal challenge or a work-related worry, we offer access to a confidential counselling service 24/7 — by phone or online — offering a safe space to talk, day or night.

This World Mental Health Day, and every day, we stand together to support, uplift and care for one another.

Earlier this week, we enjoyed a calming arts and crafts session that blended creativity with nature. Using freshly gathered leaves, we made beautiful leaf prints — experimenting with textures, patterns, and colours. As we worked, we shared stories about our favourite plants, from the ones that brighten our homes to those that remind us of special places. It was a gentle, mindful activity that left us feeling relaxed, connected, and inspired by the simple beauty of nature. 🤍
