The people that live at Park Avenue really enjoy spending time in the kitchen — baking and making delicious treats that they can enjoy themselves. Recently, they decided to make something a little different… for the birds 🐦

They all got involved in making homemade fat balls, shaping them into fun designs, including animal shapes. Once they were ready, they were taken out into the garden, where the birds can now enjoy their tasty treats.

It’s been lovely to see everyone smiling as they watch the birds popping by for their snack — a simple activity that brings joy and a wonderful connection with nature 🌿

Music has such a powerful impact – it helps stimulate memory, lift mood, encourage communication, and bring comfort and joy to the people who live with us. Seeing the smiles, engagement, and moments of connection reminds us just how important activities like this are for wellbeing and quality of life 💙

🍪 Lots of smiles (and lots of cookies!) at Park Avenue today 🍪

We had such a lovely time baking cookies together at Park Avenue. Some of the people who live here rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into the baking, while others preferred to sit back, relax… and enjoy tasting the delicious results 😋

There were plenty of cookies to go around, and it was wonderful to see everyone included in their own way — whether that was baking, chatting, or simply enjoying the treats fresh from the oven.

A simple activity, lots of laughter, and a lot of cookies baked — days like this are what make Park Avenue feel like home ❤️🍪
