We’re now just over a week away from the launch of Total Triage at St Johns Surgery on Wednesday 29 April.
From that date, all GP appointment requests will begin with a short form.
This isn’t about reducing access — it’s about making access fairer for everyone.
The form allows patients to contact us at a time that suits them (between 0800 and 1830), rather than needing to call at a specific time of day.
This helps people who work, have caring responsibilities, or who have previously struggled to get through by phone.
If you can’t complete the form yourself, our phone lines will remain open and our reception team can complete it with you.
No one will be excluded from care.
Next week, we’ll share clear instructions on how to submit a request for an appointment.
