🌸 Welcome to our Mother’s Day Messy Spa… 🌸

But this isn’t your typical spa…
This is the Creative Rainbow Explorers messy version.

Children will be exploring:

🛁 Mud bath sensory tray
🦶 Foot spa water play
🌿 Lavender bath salt cloud dough
🎨 Face masks & mummy makeup painting

Outside we have our messy spa garden with:

🍳 Breakfast in bed playdough
🌸 Perfume making
💣 Bath bomb station
🍓 Smoothie making in the mud kitchen
💅 Nail salon

Because mums deserve a spa day… even if it’s a messy one.

This week our messy play turned storybooks into real life….📚✨

Thank you so much to everyone who joined me for Library Adventures week.

From Superworm cloud dough and Hungry Caterpillar spaghetti to Gruffalo crumble and Jonty Gentoo ice play, it was such a joy watching the children dive into their favourite stories through sensory play.

The imagination, curiosity and confidence that grows in these sessions is always so special to see 💛

Next week the spotlight is on you…

To celebrate Mother’s Day, our sessions will become our own messy play spa day with a fun pamper twist.

This week has absolutely flown by 🥹💛
It’s been so special having all three of us off together — filled with walks, beach days, little adventures, and lots of crafting moments ✨

Why we LOVE Spaghetti Play 🍝✨

Spaghetti is one of our favourite messy play staples — it’s so versatile and fits into almost any theme!
I’ve used it for:
🔥 fire rescue scenes
🌱 garden trays
🪱 wiggly worm hunts
💧 water play stations
…and so many more creative setups!

The benefits:
• Encourages sensory exploration through texture
• Builds fine motor skills as little hands grasp, squeeze & pull
• Inspires imagination and storytelling
• Supports confidence with new textures
• Promotes curiosity and independent play

It’s simple and always a hit with children of all ages.

And let’s be honest… I hear it’s a bit tasty too 🤣

Another gorgeous week of messy play 🐞✨

There’s something really special about welcoming children back into the room each week… a little taller, a little braver & confident.

This week I watched tiny hands dive straight into textures they once weren’t sure about, quiet voices turn into excited chatter, and proud smiles that said “look what I did!” without needing any words at all.

Seeing their confidence grow week by week is honestly the most magical part of what I do. I feel so lucky to be part of these little journeys 💛🌈

I just want to start by saying thank you.
For your bookings.
For your trust.
For bringing your little ones along to get messy with me week after week.

One thing I’m often asked is why I limit my sessions to just 5 children.

And the answer is simple…

✨ Space to explore freely
✨ Room to move without overwhelm
✨ Time for me to truly connect with each child
✨ A calmer, more relaxed environment

Messy play is magical — but it can also feel a lot for some children. By keeping numbers small, I can really tune in, follow their interests, support their confidence, and make sure every child feels seen and valued.

It’s never about packing the room.
It’s about protecting the quality.

Thank you for understanding why spaces are limited — and why they fill quickly 🤍
