Most people, when they book their summer holidays, look forward to it immensely. They enjoy visualising the sunshine, warmth, relaxation, discovery, cultures, entertainments, music, dancing, warm balmy evenings.
But for some, (and maybe you are one of them?) the whole project is fraught with perceived discomfort or even danger. And the fears begin as soon as the bookings are made in the Spring, or previous Autumn. They feel obliged to go along with it all because their family or friends are so keen and they don’t want to be a wet blanket. You selflessly agree to submit yourself to your own set of personal terrors, so that the rest of your family or social group don’t have to miss out on what they see as an exciting opportunity.
