Emma Blunston - Be You Be Yoga

Emma Blunston - Be You Be Yoga However after my first Hot Yoga class at Yoga Haven Solihull, I already felt the benefits and I felt amazing! That’s when I decided to become a Yoga teacher.

Emma Blunston is a fully qualified Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher with over 10 years experience based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, with a focus on Mental Health awareness through the power of Yoga and Mindfulness. After struggling to deal with my anxiety around Three years ago, I felt that I needed to look at something which would help to balance my creative busy mind and take me away from the wor

ry and stress that daily life can bring. My mind was so much more relaxed and stresses and worries disappeared, this in turn has made my Marketing and Graphic Design job even more creative as i am able to open my mind even further. Yoga has made me feel like a different person, inside and out, including feeling better about myself. I understand daily life much better, which gives me a greater sense that life is about being in the moment. I decided that I really wanted to share what yoga has done for me, and how it has made me feel. I want a chance to share my passion for making people feel good and helping people in different ways. I call Yoga ‘Magic’ as it really has transformed my life, I just can’t wait to share the magic with everyone else. My Yoga practise covers areas from the
Basics of Yoga (ASHTANGA Yoga)
Core and Building Strength
(VINYASA FLOW) Yoga
Breath (Ujjayi breathing) and so much more...

I will be looking at the Chakras and implementing them in to Yoga Practise/sequences. Im also planning on introducing and learning about Yin Yoga , Restorative Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga and Children's Yoga over the next year or so... so exciting

Ways I've supported and prioritised my mental health this weekend. 🌼🩷🧘🏻‍♀️🌳

Doing simple things is the best and we can all do them.

My favourite is being outside in nature...it's what's heals you from the outside in.

Are you going to try yoga outside this Spring 2026?
🌳🧘🏻‍♀️🩷

The wellbeing benefits of yoga outdoors are amazing.

Yoga provides benefits for your mind, body and soul. These holistic benefits emphasise the connection between your physical body, mind and spirit.

Outdoor yoga enhances these benefits in many ways, like heightening your senses and increasing focus.

Here are just a few benefits:

Connection to nature
Reduce stress and anxiety
Hello sunshine (vitamin D)
So much space to share yoga outside
Natural mood booster
Bringing people together
Enhances mindfulness
Amazing for mental health
Fresh air

There are so many so this is why this 2026 makes time to practice yoga outside It’s the most healing and beautiful things you can offer yourself.

So many choices and here are a few I will be sharing yoga at this Spring / Summer.

Yoga in the blossom trees and Orangery at Hanbury Hall starting this April

Park Yoga starting this May at Brickfields Park
See you there

Such valuable feedback 🧠🏥🥰🧘🏻‍♀️

I'm so proud of the patients I work with and how they become so connected to yoga and find connection to themselves through movement and mindfulness.

I work with patients in a somatic way through a trauma informed approach, the body holds so much when we connect movement with awareness and notice sensations over shapes it becomes such a powerful healing tool.

I believe in the work i do and i will always believe in the work and will not give up getting yoga into spaces who truly need it.

A message to yoga teachers 🩷🧘🏻‍♀️🩷

Never give up on your passion to make yoga a full time job / business.

Stick to your prices / costs, don't teach for free your time is precious and so worth every minute every bit of energy you give to people and the classes you plan and create.

Working with the body is a really unique thing, which can be taken for granted by many businesses (trust me I've been there).

You didn't train for free, so don't teach for free. 💁🏻‍♀️

You're all amazing and even though it can be hard and yes some days are much harder then others offering energy to people everyday is exhausting the reward is massive and so purposeful.

Keep going we need more yoga teachers in the world to share their gifts more.

You got this 🩷🧘🏻‍♀️
