🧁 BIG NEWS at Thrive Hub Bromsgrove!

👩‍🍳 We are absolutely buzzing to welcome the legendary Bromsgrove baker Chitty's Cakes Limited to the Hub on 21 March for a very special morning cupcake and biscuit masterclass with our young adults!

Chitty’s has baked for everyone from famous faces and Lord Mayors to weddings, big corporates and everything in between and now she’s bringing her incredible skills to Thrive Hub at Social Sticks for a hands on, creative yummy session.

Cupcakes, biscuits, learning new skills and lots of fun in the hub. We cannot wait for this one. Stay tuned for the photos because it’s going to be brilliant. 🧁🍪✨

🐾 Tonight we exhibited at Halesowen College where young adults met our Pets As Therapy dogs, found out more about our SEND young adults provision at Social Sticks - huge thank you to Chitty's Cakes Limited for the baked treats and Lottie and Winnie for being the cutest 🐾 🐶

Looking forward to welcoming young adults to our provision soon!

💜 Happy International Women’s Day! Feeling very fortunate to have so many incredible women in my life, I’d be lost without my wife Sammy, mam, auntie, mother-in-law, Lydia and of course my two amazing daughters.

Thank you for everything you do every day.

It’s so important that we stand as allies and keep fighting for women’s rights.

🙏 The best thing about having pet therapy dogs is when the girls are poorly, they literally don’t leave their side. Our youngest has a bug 🤮 and having them to snuggle up to and relax with, whilst watching Disney really does ease things 🐾

BIG things are growing at Thrive Hub literally!

We’re thrilled to announce that Thrive Hub now has its very own allotment by Sanders Park! 🎉

That means fresh air, muddy hands and loads of green fingered fun ahead. Our new space will let us:

🥕 Grow our own fruit and veg in raised beds
🌞 Spend more time outdoors together
🌱 Learn how to grow your own produce from seed to plate
🍓 Harvest delicious goodies to take home and enjoy!

Get ready for laughter, learning and plenty of tasty treats straight from the soil. 🌻
