As we are still struggling with the weather conditions, all calls will be handled in Helmsdale for the first hour this morning to allow for our Brora staff to travel when it is safe. Please let us know if you are not able to attend any booked appointments. Thanks again to everyone for your patience due to this challenging weather❄️❄️❄️

Please bear with us until we see what the road conditions are like for our staff to safely travel. We will have a one member of the admin team in from 0800 to answer the phones. If the call is not immediately answered then please give it a few minutes before trying again. Doctor appointments will not be starting until later in the morning to ensure everyone's safety.

Severe weather conditions - Monday 5th January 2026

Due to the severe weather conditions it will be very difficult for most of our staff and clinicians to travel to the surgeries. We will do our utmost to provide the care needed. Please do not attend any pre-booked appointments until advised on Monday morning. Thank you for your patience and understanding and we will update the position in the morning.

**UPDATE - CAR NOW MOVED**

HELMSDALE SURGERY CAR PARK - WEDNESDAY 24TH DECEMBER

There is a car parked in front of the Helmsdale surgery which is blocking access to the rear car park. If anyone knows whose car this is, please could they ask that it be moved urgently. Many thanks.

Weather conditions - Wednesday 19th November

Due to the weather conditions it is taking longer for some of our staff and clinicians to get in to the surgeries. Please bear with us as we will need to re-arrange some of the appointments. If you do have an appointment today and are unable to make it, please let us know.

The Brora Pharmacy has asked us to share the following information:

Flu vaccinations will be available at Right Medicine Pharmacy, Brora, on Tuesday 25th November 2025 and Tuesday 16th December 2025.
(Clinic on 25th November is now full but we have good availability on 16th December)

This service is free of charge for those who meet the NHS criteria for the vaccine.
There will be a £15 charge for anyone who does not meet NHS criteria but would like the vaccine.

Any patients who wish to make an appointment please call the Pharmacy on 01408621230.
Please note that unfortunately we are unable to offer the COVID-19 vaccination at this time.
