Today we say goodbye and good luck to our wonderful senior carer, Tom 💙

Over the past 4 years at the Old School House, Tom has been a truly valued member of our team. His hard work, compassion, and dedication — along with plenty of laughter along the way — have made such a difference to both residents and colleagues, and he will be greatly missed by us all.

Thank you for everything, Tom — for the care, the support, the energy and the smiles you have brought. We wish you all the very best for the future, and remember, our doors will always be open to you 💙

What a beautiful afternoon spent out in the garden 🌿☀️

☘️ St Patrick’s Day at The Old School House ☘️

We've had a wonderful time celebrating St Patrick’s Day here at The Old School House! The day was full of fun, laughter and plenty of Irish spirit. 🇮🇪

Our residents enjoyed delicious shamrock shakes, homemade Baileys cheesecake and a hearty Irish stew that went down a treat. We even had some fun with St Patrick’s tattoos, which brought lots of smiles and laughter all around.

The room looked fantastic with our themed balloon arch, adding an extra touch of colour to the celebrations. ☘️🎈

A big thank you to Lucy and Laura for preparing such a beautiful dinner, and to our amazing staff team for all their help and preparation in making the day so special for everyone. 💚

💪 Chair Exercise Fun! 💺

Our residents enjoyed a lovely chair exercise session on Friday, stretching, moving, and keeping active together. These gentle exercises are a great way to support mobility, strength, and wellbeing.

Of course, some of our residents enjoyed the music so much they couldn’t stay in their chairs and got up for a little dance! 💃 It was wonderful to see everyone smiling, laughing, and enjoying the moment together.

Well done to everyone who took part – staying active and having fun! 👏
