Today is the first full moon of 2026 and it rises in the sign of Cancer 🌕♋️✨. It is called a Wolf Moon, reminding us to protect our peace, nurture our people, and release what doesn’t belong in this new chapter.

The Wolf Moon in Cancer 🌕🐺 is soft but powerful! It is about honouring our home, healing family patterns, and closing out old emotional loops. Perfect timing after the holidays.

A beautiful summary from Guzsik-Mohácsi Viktória:

"Today is the first Full Moon of the year!
The rebellion of the inner wolf 🎯🌕

It’s January 3rd.
Only three days have passed since the new year began.
Your calendar is filled with big plans.
Your fridge is stocked with healthy food.
Your workout clothes are laid out.
Everything is logical, everything is “right,” everything is exactly as the rulebook says it should be.

But tonight, as the year’s first Full Moon rises in the sky, you may feel something strange stirring inside you.
You’re tense. Restless.
Your mind says: “Do it! Stick with it! Discipline!”
Yet in your soul, in your heart, you feel resistance.
A heavy exhaustion.
Or perhaps an inexplicable anger toward your own plans.

You might think this is a sign of weakness.
You might think you’ve already failed.
But this is the rebellion of your inner wolf.

The wolf has a special ability: it senses falsehood.
It smells when something doesn’t belong.
And your resistance on January 3rd is exactly that—your inner instinct signaling that maybe you’re deceiving yourself.

Look at your list.
How many of your goals were born from genuine, burning desire?
(The kind the wolf would hunt for.)

And how many were born from shame, fear, or the need to conform?
(“You should be thinner.”
“You should work more.”)

Your soul is not an obedient extra in your own life.
It doesn’t nod along while suffering, and it doesn’t endure being bound.
Tonight, the Wolf Moon awakens the dormant strength within you and finally speaks the truth you’ve been afraid to admit:
“This path doesn’t make me happy. And from today on, I have the courage to listen to my heart instead of my head.”

This Full Moon shines a light behind the “good girl / good boy” mask.
If the new year feels heavy, it’s not because you’re lazy.
It’s because you’ve taken on a burden that isn’t yours.

Maybe you’re chasing society’s dreams.
Maybe you wrote your parents’ expectations on your list.
Maybe you’re trying to replicate a “perfect Instagram life.”

But the wolf doesn’t eat plastic.
And your soul doesn’t get nourished by fake goals.

Be brave tonight.
Stop forcing what isn’t working.
Pause.
Step into the moonlight (or simply look out the window).
And ask your inner wolf:

“What are you truly hungry for?”

Maybe it’s not “six-pack abs,” but lightness and dance.
Maybe it’s not “millions,” but safety and freedom.
Maybe it’s not “harder work,” but more rest and creation.

Dare to change direction.

It’s only January 3rd.
Nothing is carved in stone yet.
This Full Moon is your chance to stop the autopilot before you march in the wrong direction all year long.

Tear up the list if you need to.
Throw out the resolutions that smell like obligation.
And keep only the one or two things your gut responds to with:
“YES. This is worth moving for. This is worth fighting for.”

Don’t be a trained circus animal in your own life.
Be the wolf who follows only its own call.
Tonight, the Full Moon shines for you."

When words fail, sound remains: the Akaal Mantra after sudden loss.

When an unexpected loss occurs, life can feel as though it suddenly pauses. Time seems suspended, and letting go of someone we love can feel impossible. In those moments, we often find ourselves holding on — to memories, to words left unsaid, to the shock of how quickly everything changed.

The Akaal mantra, used in Kundalini Yoga and Sikh traditions, is often chanted around the time of death and in the days that follow. Its purpose is not to explain loss, but to support people through it. The mantra focuses on the idea of “Akaal,” meaning timeless or beyond death, which can be comforting when everything feels fragile and uncertain.

Akaal. 'A' means without. 'Kaal' means time. 'Akaal', timeless or undying.

Visit the blog post to connect to the Akaal mantra and how to practice.

Kundalini Yoga Workshop - The 10 Body System 🙏

Friday, 21 November 2025 at 7.30 - 9 pm
Brough Petuaria Centre and Zoom online
Did you know that we actually have 10 Bodies? 1 Physical body, 3 Mental bodies and 6 Energetical bodies.

The 1 Physical body is the vehicle through which all other bodies are expressed. It’s the one we can feel, see, experience fully with the 5 senses.

The 3 Mental bodies are the Negative, Positive and Neutral minds. The Negative mind is looking for all the the dangers that threaten us, it keeps us safe. The Positive mind is searching for opportunities, it keeps us excited. The Neutral mind takes both the Negative & Positive minds input and makes a balanced, neutral decision that keeps as safe but moves us forward. The Yogic mind.

The 6 Energetical bodies are the Soul - our true essence, the Arcline - the halo or energy line across the brow (women have an extra one across the chest) relating to intuition, our 6th sense, the Aura - the electromagnetic field that surrounds the body, representing protection, the Pranic body - the body that controls the breath and prana, the source of vitality and life force, the Subtle body - see below & the Radiant body - the body that represents courage, nobility and grace, our inner and outer radiance shines through it.
Come and join us for this 1.5 hour Kundalini Yoga workshop working our way through balancing the 10 Bodies.

Price: £6/class https://www.yogawithdora.co.uk/group-classes ------------------------------ SEMI PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES: (flexible time) in Brough Studio - for busy people, beginners, runners, cyclists, office jobs, mums, etc. Yoga originally was taught from guru (master) to student. The reason for this is Yoga is a work in as opposed to a work out. The poses are designed to heal you from the inside out. Each pose or breathing exercise has specific purposes and benefits ranging from improving circulation, regulating digestion, enhancing metabolism, and improving range of motion to control, balance and more. To achieve this we start where You are. The individual. Learning in a small group or one-to-one gives you the opportunity to get to know yourself, identify your strengths and weaknesses, areas of imbalance, areas where attention should be focused. In a small group there is time and opportunity for detailed alignment of the postures. Yoga becomes truly useful when you can translate this attention and observation into all areas of your life. Learning this will not only equip you on the yoga mat but in other areas of your life and with all forms of exercise to practice safely and with optimum benefits for you. £13/person for 60 minutes class (2 places available at a time) £16/person for 75 minutes class (2 places available at a time) £18/person for 90 minutes class (2 places available at a time)

https://www.yogawithdora.co.uk/semi-private-yoga-classes ----------------------------------- YOGA THERAPY & PRIVATE CLASSES: What is Yoga Therapy? Yoga therapy is the adaptation of yoga practices for people with health challenges. Yoga therapists prescribe specific regimens of postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to suit individual needs. Medical research shows that Yoga therapy is among the most effective complementary therapies for several common aliment such as anxiety, depression, weight problems, back ache, shoulder pain, headache, indigestion, insomnia, diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure etc. The focus of Yoga Therapy is understanding of the vital integration of mind, body, and spirit to heal the whole person. One way to think of yoga therapy is as a replacement therapy, that is, replacing old bad habits with better new ones. As such, yoga therapy encompasses not only the body and the movements we do on the yoga mat, but how we live and treat others and ourselves off the mat, which is ultimately what matters for a healthy and whole life. £32/session https://www.yogawithdora.co.uk/yoga-therapy https://www.yogawithdora.co.uk/private-yoga
