Who is eligible?
✅️ adults aged 75 and over, including if you turn 75 before June 30th 2026
✅️ residents in a care home for older adults
✅️ aged 74 and under who have a weakened immune system

Weakened immune system criteria falls under any of the following:
✅️ organ, bone marrow or stem cell transplant patients
✅️ individuals living with hiv
✅️ individuals undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy
✅️ individuals who require long-term treatment for immunosupression
✅️ individuals with genetic disorders affecting the immune system

If you are unsure if you qualify, please ask a member of staff and we will be happy to help.

🅿️Parking Update for Our Customers🅿️

As many of you have noticed, the shared car park outside the pharmacy has recently been taken over by a private parking company. We understand this sudden change has caused confusion and concern, and many of you have been in touch with questions.

At this time, we have only been given limited information, and we currently know the same as the public. However, we can confirm one important point:

🅿️There is a 1-hour free grace period, and you do NOT need to scan any QR code or register your vehicle if you are leaving within that hour.
This means you can still collect your prescriptions or pop in for items without worrying about receiving a fine, as long as your visit is under one hour.

We will share any further updates as soon as we receive them. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition — we know the situation is frustrating, and we appreciate your continued support.

📣Did you know you can return any unwanted or expired medicines to your local community pharmacy?

Here at Brough Pharmacy we will safely dispose of any prescription or over-the-counter medicines.

Some important information:
❌ please do not return any needles, syringes or used sharps bins. They must be collected by the local council, and you can arrange a collection from https://www.gov.uk/request-clinical-waste-collection

️❌️ please do not return any outer packaging, e.g. outer cardboard boxes, patient leaflets etc. Please only return them in their inner blister packaging

✅️ controlled drugs can be returned. Please be sure to have the details of the person they were prescribed for so we can keep an accurate record.
