Happy New Year, it's been a busy festive period for home visits ,so many new parents in the Dundee and Fife area.Supporting parents on their breastfeeding journey is such a satisfying job and with the added benefit of being able to see them in the comfort of their own home.

'Nose to ni**le' often doesn't make sense to people.
But when you explain to them that it's to try and encourage the chin firmly onto the breast, and to keep the bottom lip well away from the ni**le, it can sometimes make a bit more sense.

We all learn in different ways. Some people are visual, others need demonstrations, some prefer written instructions...

I'm here over the festive break if you need support. As parents we can't just click the out of office button and be off duty, little one's need us just as much as normal. It can be a tricky time to navigate with some groups and services closed over the holidays, please get in touch if you need support.
