Please use our urgent appointment services only where necessary, to help us prioritise care for those with the greatest need our services may experience some reduction or delays during these extreme weather conditions.

Routine Appointments – Patients who have a routine appointment booked for tomorrow, please consider if travel to the appointment is necessary and consider rebooking if appropriate and safe to do so.

Requests for home visits should be made only for urgent medical issues – if you are housebound consider if your problem can reasonably wait.

If you have a attending a face-to-face appointment, please carefully consider your travel arrangements and personal safety before attending.

If conditions make travel unsafe, or if your problem is not urgent, please contact the practice to discuss alternative arrangements or rescheduling.

Our team is working hard to maintain services during this period, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Did you know that having the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine can reduce your baby’s risk of having severe RSV by 70% in the first six months of life?
RSV is a major respiratory virus that is most common over the winter period. While the symptoms are mild for many, RSV accounts for around 30,000 hospitalisations of children under five in the UK annually, and for 20 to 30 infant deaths.
If you’re at least 28 weeks pregnant, you can now receive the vaccine at any time up to the birth, by contacting your maternity service or GP practice to arrange an appointment.
If you’re under 28 weeks pregnant, pop a reminder in your diary to book this vital vaccine when you reach week 28 of pregnancy.
It is advisable that women receive the recommended vaccines during their pregnancy journey for optimum protection.
Speak to your maternity service or GP practice to arrange an appointment.
