Next time you're passing our window on High Street, stop and have a read - we're celebrating the amazing history and work of Hospice . From the initial philanthropy of Ella Rowcroft in 1941, the opening of the actual hospice in 1982, to their current support of over 2,000 people each year, their story of supporting the local community continues to grow. And they continue to need support - their charity shops are treasure troves and donations can be made through their website.

A great question that we're often asked is, what actually happens at a crematorium? The team at Torbay Crematorium are hosting an Open Day on Sat 26th July, to answer exactly this and to show how they support their clients. If you wish, you can also see behind the scenes and learn all about the crematory process. We know that these tours and open days can help to allay fears and concerns about funerals - all questions are welcomed. I, Simon, am really looking forward to the first Lost Sound Dartmoor Folk Choir concert in Tiverton on June 7th. On the theme of country life we will be singing a varied set of wonderful songs entertaingly set. Most of our concerts sell out but Tiverton is new ground for us so do come along.
