Throughout January and February we will again this year look for food and essentials donations from your kind selves.

At this cold and dreary time of the year we at Moray Crematorium will donate and collect donations for families less fortunate and deliver the items to local food banks.

If there is anything you can spare or donate, please feel free to pop into our office and we will take the items for you.

Thanks

Hello everyone,

🕯️ As you will be aware we had our wonderfully attended Advent Service of Remembrance on the 2nd of December. 🕯️

We recorded the service as we think its something lovely we can share for you to watch again, watch because you may have been unable to attend or you may feel sharing it to your friends and family to watch.

🎶 There are carols, readings and musical performances. 🪈

We take a lot of pride in our services and they are always very well received. We hope you can take some comfort in watching the service. Below is the link to watch it, so please click on and enjoy.

We at Moray Crematorium wish you a Pleasant Christmas and a Happy New Year. Look after yourselves and others, and enjoy your time with your families.

🌹When words feel too heavy, photos can carry the memories. 💛
These images from our memorial grounds capture the calm, peaceful spaces where you can reflect, remember, and feel close to those you’ve lost. Sometimes, a quiet moment surrounded by beauty can say what words cannot.

“How can I create a personal tribute for my loved one?” 💛
Creating a tribute is a beautiful way to celebrate the life and memories of someone you love. There are many ways to make it personal, meaningful, and unique to them:

✨ Memorial gardens – a peaceful, living space where family and friends can spend time in a beautiful setting.

✨ Keepsake memorials – from jewellery to memory bears, small items that carry a big meaning.

✨ Books of Remembrance – leave a lasting tribute with their name or a personal message.

Most memorials can be personalized which allows you to honour not just a life, but the things that made that person unique - hobbies, passions, quirks, and special moments. Every tribute tells a story, and every story keeps their memory alive.

🕯️ The team and myself at Moray Crematorium would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended our two Advent Services of Remembrance. Between both of them we had over 300 people come which is by far our largest attendances to date. 🕯️

🕊️ Every year it always amazes us the warmth, care and aura the services brings. They are very emotional occasions and we take real comfort and appreciation that we are all there together taking the time to remember our loved ones. 🕊️

I would like to thank all the participants that made the service what it was. Murray Campbell O.B.E & M.N.M and Laura Gordon for presenting the service.

🎶 Rachel Emmott who performed her very own written song. And from Buckie High School, music pupils Kalee McCormack who sang something only we know beautifully and Olivia Da Silva who played walking in the air on the flute perfectly. 🪈

🧁I would like to thank Home Bakery (Buckie) LTD and Jane Mason Funeral Director at AD Walkers for providing the scrumptious cakes 🍰

And finally, I would like to thank you all for your very generous donations that will be given to team at Buckie Fire Service. A total of £681.64 was collected which is simply phenomenal.

From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much for attending, you will be more than welcome to attend next year and every year and we hope to see you again soon.

Take care over the holidays and we the team at Moray Crematorium, wish you all a pleasant Christmas and new year.
