We’re delighted to announce that Parklands Care Homes has been shortlisted in four categories at the Caring UK Awards 2025 – including the Community Activity Award and the prestigious Care Group of the Year Award.

Special congratulations to our fantastic colleagues at Eilean Dubh, recognised in two categories - Regional Care Home (Scotland) and Activities Team.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the dedication of our teams and the support of our residents, families and communities. So, thank you. We'll find out in early December if we've been successful. 🤞

What a fun filled day we had at Netherha, we had the most amazing afternoon thanks to Out There, the mobile sensory room, seeing the reactions from these residents was amazing and so therapeutic. 🚥🐈🐠

Then we teamed up with our sister home Wakefield House Care Home in Cullen and had a lovely evening at Cullen Indian, where all the residents tried a variety of Indian cuisine, it was amazing to see them all have fun and enjoying their evening. 🥘🍚🧋

Blessing moved from Nigeria to Aberlour to continue her caring career: “It’s the satisfaction that comes with the job. It makes you very happy.” 🇳🇬

She’s joined by Eli, a 17-year-old domestic assistant from France, who says the best part of the job is being in daily contact with residents: “Everyone’s respectful and so nice.” 🇫🇷
