The Judge.

We all have that inner judge — the voice that’s quick to criticize, compare, and sometimes hold us back. But that voice didn’t just appear randomly. It’s often shaped by experiences from our childhood — times when we felt criticized or when we learned to protect ourselves in certain ways.
Although the judge can feel critical there is a reason for this part of us.
Maybe to help us feel safe and avoid past pain?

We may also notice judgments from the people around us — family, friends, or society — and those can influence how we see ourselves, too.

Not all judgment is harmful. Some of it can push us to grow and make better choices. The real work comes when we recognise when judgment is helping us, and when it’s just holding us back.

When does the judge part show up? Could it be trying to protect you from old wounds?
How do others’ judgments affect how you feel about yourself, and is it time to let go of the ones that no longer serve you?

We are more than the judgments we hold on to or hear from others. Let’s be a little kinder to ourselves today. ❤️

Easter eggs symbolise rebirth and new starts a reminder that life is full of opportunities to begin again. Sometimes, life gives us a gentle nudge or a not-so-gentle push toward something new.
