Christmas 2025 - done!

Happy Boxing Day to every parent and carer who successfully delivered another magical Christmas... and is now running purely on leftover stuffing and mulled wine.

If your living room currently looks like wrapping paper met a blender, if every toy makes a noise, or if you stepped on something sharp before 9am, congratulations... you’ve nailed it!

Today’s vibe is stretchy clothes, cold roasties straight from the fridge and pretending the mountain of new toys will somehow tidy itself.

Enjoy the chaos, the cuddles and any quiet moments you can sneak in.

We did it!

Thank you to everyone who has trained with me this year! Wishing you a wonderful Christmas xx

Hopefully your Christmas will be happy and healthy, but just be mindful when you’re visiting other homes or if other people are minding your little ones that they keep an eye out for these hazards…

High powered magnets
They are tiny and shiny which makes them very tempting for little ones. Swallowing more than one can cause serious internal damage so keep magnet sets well out of reach of little hands.

Toys with button batteries
Those light up books, singing decorations and novelty toys are everywhere at this time of year. If a button battery gets stuck in a child’s throat it can cause serious internal damage very quickly which is why secure battery compartments matter so much.

You’ll find them in:

Light up books
Musical storybooks
Singing or flashing soft toys
Small plastic toys that light up or make noises
Spinning or novelty light wands
Mini torches
Key ring toys
Christmas novelty toys (singing decorations, flashing ornaments)

Christmas cracker toys
Crackers often hide tiny plastic prizes that end up scattered on the floor. Many are the perfect size to choke on so a quick tidy up after pulling crackers is a simple way to keep little ones safe.

Baring these in mind will help ensure you enjoy a happy and safe Christmas.
