ExemplaCare is excited to announce the opening of our new adult day centre, providing services for Buckingham, Winslow and the surrounding villages. We offer a welcoming and enriching environment for older adults in the local community.
Are you skilled in any of the following?
Arts and crafts, light gardening and potting, knitting, crochet, macramé, or watercolour painting.
We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to share their talents with the wonderful members of our new day centre. Sessions are around one hour, arranged on a flexible, ad hoc basis - and all sessions are paid.

We’re delighted to introduce the ExemplaCare Day Centre — a welcoming, friendly and fully accessible space for older adults to enjoy companionship, activities and support in a safe and relaxed environment. 💚

📍 East Claydon Village Hall, Botolph Claydon
📅 Every Wednesday
🕙 10:00am – 4:00pm (or 9:00am for breakfast club, 5:00pm for afternoon tea)

ExemplaCare is a local care company based in Buckingham. We cover Buckingham, Winslow and surrounding villages. We are managed by 3 registered nurses who are available from 7am to 10pm, 7 days a week. We are CQC registered - this is so important to ensure care delivery is regulated. We are insured and all the carers are enhanced DBS checked. They are also monitored and shadowed regularly and are highly trained.

It's here! Our long awaited, labour of love, ExemplaCare recipe book has arrived. We’re delighted to share Generations on a Plate - a unique recipe book full of cherished recipes and stories from our clients, carers, friends and families. It's £12.50 per book and all proceeds will be donated to The Buckingham Hospital League of Friends and The Buckingham Stroke Group. A celebration of food, memories and community - we would be so grateful if you would like to purchase it and support such meaningful local causes. We’re thrilled to share some exciting news! Our clients, their families, and our wonderful team have come together to create a special recipe book titled Generations on a Plate - a beautiful collection of treasured recipes from years gone by, each accompanied by the stories and memories that make them so special.

The team at ExemplaCare, with the generous support of our community, has produced this book to raise funds for two fantastic local charities: The Buckingham Hospital League of Friends and the Buckingham Stroke Group.
We’re also proud to have the backing of eight local businesses who kindly sponsored this project - all of whom are featured in the book.

You’ll be able to purchase Generations on a Plate at upcoming local Christmas fairs (details to follow soon), and we’ll also be launching our first ExemplaCafe event on Wednesday, 17th December!
