Care at Home: Easier Said Than Done

“We just want a bit of help at home.”

Sounds simple. But in reality, it involves:
✔ Understanding assessments and eligibility
✔ Managing personal budgets or direct payments
✔ Recruiting reliable carers

We walk families through all of it — so they can focus on care, not red tape.

When Caring Feels Like a Full-Time Job… It Probably Is

Many people caring for family do over 35 hours a week — unpaid - for love.

We help:
✔ Identify what support you can claim
✔ Access benefits
✔ Protect your rights as a carer

It’s okay to need help. And to ask for it.

When someone you love dies, life can feel like it’s falling apart.

If that person was your partner, your carer, or the one who kept things going — the loss is more than emotional. It’s practical too.

We see this so often: people trying to hold everything together while they wait for an assessment, unsure what to do next.

Our advice? Don’t wait.
If care is needed, get help in place now — even short-term. Keep the carers you had for the couple. Bring in someone daily, even just to check in.

Please don’t feel you have to do it all yourself.

We’ve written a guide for what to do after a loved one dies — especially if someone is now left vulnerable or in need of support.
