My name is Ryan Tychowski and I am the owner of Apex Fitness and Nutrition. I have been a personal trainer for over 5 years and recently completed a masters degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Oxford Brookes University. Nutrition is a huge component of physical fitness and understanding when and what to eat is fundamental to making improvements. My masters degree sets me apart from other fitness professionals as I I am now in an elite group of practitioners in this country who have studied nutrition to a high level.

I have built a great rapport with all my clients and helped them in achieving their fitness goals. Sessions are tailored for the individual and we always have a laugh and a joke along the way!

Rounding off another great year with the annual Christmas jumper week 🧑‍🎄. Had so many people on holiday/ ill this week, didn’t quite get the numbers of previous years! But still got enough 😊

Been a brilliant year and I’m so lucky to have a wonderful bunch of clients. It never feels like I’m working, I just have fun everyday 😊💪🏻.

My final working day of the year was today. Time for lots of chocolate now (even more than usual 😂) and loads of Christmas films 🎥⛄️

Spontaneously asked my client Rob, who was my last client of the day, if he fancied an old school session outside to which he agreed 💪🏻. Back to the “old office” where I trained people during the Covid times. Was so nice to be back outside 😎. My last session outside was 2 years ago 😳. A one off, but a brilliant one! Hope everyone enjoyed today’s sunshine too ☀️

My tremendous client Ian (aka Sid) started his fitness journey with me around 15 months ago. He was just under 16 stone when he first started and is now just under 14 stone 💪🏻. Brilliant man, never moans, never complains. Although I probably do both to him most sessions 😂. Does a lot of cardio by himself and has really dedicated himself to improving his health. Really pleased for him 🏋️😊

6:30am session this morning and my client Kat decided to to become a co PT for her sister Jens session. When I say co PT, I mean lead PT and I was demoted to assistant immediately 😂

Today was a bit of a milestone for my client Matt and I. This week marks 10 years since I started training Matt which is insane! Matt is a true Day 1 💪🏻.

I started training Matt in 2015, which is two years before I even started my own business! I remember getting passed a post-it note with his name and number on and here we are 10 years later still going 💪🏻

We’ve shared a tonne of laughs every single session and it’s been a real privilege to be Matts PT for so long. A top top man 👌🏻🛡

Had a Facebook memory pop up this morning reminding me that my business is 8 years old today! 🎈

Where does the time go, scary!

My little brother usually knocks up a graphic for me each year, but he was out today, so here’s me holding an 8kg kettlebell like a MOTM trophy instead to signify the years 😂

My super client Ali took part in the Buckingham 10km this past weekend 🏃‍♀️ She managed to beat her time from last year which is awesome 👏. Always enjoy hearing things like this from my clients 💪🏻👌🏻

Had my client and good buddy Rory in for his weekly PT session today 💪🏻 . Really tough session (want he wants!) on what is his 40th birthday 🥳. Not many people who want to spend an hour of their birthday with me in the gym 😂. Great commitment 👏. Absolute machine 💪🏻. Happy Birthday Rory 🎈

My client Paul won his first race of the season last week 🏆! He competes in the Caterham Graduates Racing Club - Sigma 135.

I started training Paul end of January and the goal was to help get him on the podium at the end of the championship (still races to go) and to win a race. As I’m horribly competitive 🙈😂 I was so keen to make sure we worked as hard as we could in the gym, to give him the best possible chance on the fitness side of things 💪🏻.

We have great laugh every week as he’s a top man and I’m delighted that he’s won a race 🏆
