I’m here to help you work through any blocks, struggles or difficult feelings you may be experiencing, and teach you skills so that you can help yourself thereafter. I started my career as a nurse and experienced several different NHS roles from Midwifery, Children’s nursing, School Health and for the past 15 years Child and Adolescent Mental Health

Services. I qualified as a Counsellor to enhance my knowledge and skill-set, and have continued to develop my knowledge and skills to include Child & Adolescent Mental health studies, Attachment theories; Sand-play therapy, Mindfulness MBCT, EMDR and Yoga – a gift for the nervous system! This blend of mind and body knowledge, with experience, means I can offer a holistic service for you and your loved ones that is both evidence based and values based. Truth, Kindness, Non-Judgement, Courage, Calming, Strong energy and Compassion are all essential for healing the deep wounds of Trauma and recovering mental health. This synergy of skills, values and knowledge has enabled me to support a diverse range of families, including children and young people that are looked after, and the carers supporting them. YOGA:
I also offer Yoga classes at Lace Hill Sports & Community Centre every Tuesday evening as maintenance for your wellbeing . These are generally Slow Flow Vinyasa although Bespoke group or individual classes are available for Yoga, Meditation and Somatic movement by arrangement in the Buckingham area. The slow flow vinyasa classes incorporate a flowing sequence of postures that can be practiced at different levels from complete beginner to the more advanced practitioner. Improve:
- Awareness, concentration and focus.
- Flexibility, strength, fitness and stamina.
- Balance, alignment and posture.
- Self-acceptance, self-esteem, social connection. Enhance:
- Sleep, relaxation, mood, body image and social connections.
- Self development and curiosity. Reduce:
- Symptoms of Trauma, Stress, Anxiety & Depression.
- Blood pressure, muscle tension, weight.
- Imbalances in the body and mind.
