Happy International Women’s to all the incredible women in our Fitworx community — the mums, aunties, sisters, friends and strong women who show up, support each other and keep going even when energy is low.
Strength isn’t just about lifting weights or finishing a workout…
It’s about juggling busy lives, caring for families, supporting friends and still finding time to look after yourself.
I feel so lucky to see so many amazing women each week, building strength, confidence and friendships together.

FITWORX - women’s only group exercise classes!

Each session focuses on building strength in different ways — sometimes circuits, sometimes on-the-spot strength — and of course as fun as possible 😉

✔️ child-friendly

💪 Strength-focused sessions (but always fun and varied)
👶 Babies & little ones welcome
💙 No pressure, no judgement, no “keeping up”

🗓 Active Mums class times:
📍 Monday – 9:15am
📍 Wednesday – 10:15am
📍 Friday – 10:15am
All held in a private, friendly studio, not a big scary gym.

🌙 Prefer an evening class?
I also run a Women’s Only Group Training session:
📍 Monday evenings – 6:00pm
A supportive, women-only strength session — perfect if evenings work better for you or you want some proper you-time.

Now that is what you call consistency ...🤩

My awesome client has averaged nearly 12000 steps EVERY day for the last 12 months ...thats pretty big achievement considering it's difficult to keep the steps up for just a week!

I thought I would get ChatGPT to give me some fun facts about Rachel's stats to put it into perspective...

🏃‍♀️ Rachel walked the length of the UK… and then did it again.
The distance from Land’s End to John O’Groats is about 1,400 km, so Rachel basically did it over 2 times!

🌍 Rachel walked almost 8% of the way around the Earth.
The Earth’s circumference is about 40,075 km, so Rachel already ticked off a decent chunk of a lap!

🏟 That’s over 8,200 laps of a running track.
If Rachel walked it on a 400m track she'd have gone around about 8,296 times. Hope Rachel likes left turns.

🐕 Even the most energetic dog would be tired.
Most dogs average 5–10 km a day, and Rachel averaged about 9 km every single day for a year.

🚶 Rachel basically did a half marathon… every two days.
At your yearly distance, that’s the equivalent of about 157 half marathons.

🦶 Rachel's feet deserve a medal.
Nearly 4.4 million steps means her shoes probably deserve a retirement party.

💪 And the best stat of all…
Rachel averaged almost 12,000 steps every day, which most people struggle to do even a few days a week.

I’m starting to think that the little ones enjoy squats more than their Mummas! 🏋🏼‍♂️

Baby = loving life 🤣

Today reminded me exactly why I love what I do.
I always love meeting new clients and going through their first session but today was just one of those times that motivates me even more.

Changing a clients mind about what exercise means is awesome. So many women carry years of guilt, pressure and “I should be doing more” 😩(simply not the case)

I love to teach women that exercise doesn’t have to be a chore.
It doesn’t have to be punishment.
It doesn’t have to feel heavy.
Movement can be calm.
It can be empowering.
It can be something you actually enjoy and so it should be…

Our session today was about breathing while you move, slowing down and taking time.

When you breathe properly and connect to your movement - that’s where the first steps of progress begin.

Strong, supportive, mindful movement that builds a positive relationship with exercise 💙

Whether you are newly postnatal or years into motherhood - your body deserves some TLC by building strength, self care and patience.

Women generally think of everyone else but themselves - me included! Sometimes you have to put yourself first - and that IS OK!

Looking for a fun, supportive way to get active, meet other mums, and feel amazing?
Our Active Mums Classes are held at a private studio in the centre of town!

When?
Monday: 9:15 AM
Wednesday: 10:15 AM
Friday: 10:15 AM

All fitness levels are welcome, whether you’re postnatal, getting back into exercise, or just want a bit of “me time.”

We have some new classes and options that are coming in the New Year too! 🎉

Spaces are limited to 10 so pre booking is essential! 💙
