Note that all prices listed are for guidance only and do not include travel costs or parts. FAILIURE TO READ THE RELEVANT SECTIONS MAY RESULT IN UNEXPECTED COSTS OR DELAY IN REPAIRS. (1A)

Detailed diagnostics with up to date software including free print out. Repairs advice available quickly with option to book in repairs on the spot. ABS system diagnostics. Cooling system diagnostics. Air conditioning diagnostics. PCM diagnostic. Timing diagnostics. Airbag diagnostics. Power assisted steering system diagnostics. Side window diagnostic. Engine management diagnostic. Immobiliser diagnostic and coding. Transmission diagnostic. Clutch diagnostic. Service light reset. Key Coding (not all makes supported, complete compatibility check)
Tire pressure sensor coding. Basic battery and alternator diagnostics. (1B)
We cannot carry out:
M.O.T inspections. Braking efficiency tests. Dyno test. Bush removal and refitting. Tire renewal or repair. Insurance related inspections. Emissions test. *
Removal of emissions control systems. Air conditioning system re-gassing. Headlight alignment. Wheel alignment. #
Key Coding without the manufacturer codes. Remapping (this is different than coding). Tampering with mileage or security systems. Replacing the windscreen or rear window. Transmission rebuilds. Engine overhaul. Vehicle storage. Work on pure electric vehicles (e.g Tesla vehicles). Internal repairs to high voltage batteries. Welding and vehicle body repair tasks. Vehicles with air suspension. Repairs or cleaning of interior fabrics. Emergency recovery. Any vehicle that has been stated to be not supported after initial compatibility check.

All prices displayed on this page are designed to give a base price for the customer to consider. Actual prices may vary subject to condition of a vehicle, working conditions and hours worked. Any delays caused by aftermarket modification that has not been stated in the quotation process will incur additional hourly charges. (2B)
Custom vehicle services can only be tailored to the vehicle with prior service history paperwork. Any vehicle without this will be charged at a set rate as will be discussed at the quotation process. (3)
Vehicles must be on an even, level, solid surface to perform work on the underside of the vehicle. Any vehicle that is deemed to be in an unsafe working environment as listed above will not be worked on but 'call out' charges will still apply. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure these conditions are met as technicians are not allowed to move vehicles other than in a diagnostic or repair capacity. If in doubt provide a picture of location to confirm if repairs are possible. (4A)
Parts provided by the customer will not be covered by our parts guarantee. Failure of these parts is the sole responsibility of the customer. Any damage to property, injury or loss of life caused by installation of these components cannot be attributed to MSR technicians. Repair or replacement of these components upon failure will incur additional charges if performed by MSR technicians. (4B)
Parts provided by MSR will be covered by parts guarantee. In the event of failure replacement of these parts will not incur additional labor cost except in the instance of tampering or damage caused by improper use. Replacement of these components will be subject to availability of technicians although we will endeavor to rectify the problem as quickly as possible. All parts sourced by MSR carry up to a 20% price mark up and any delivery/collection times will affect appointment times. Delays caused by suppliers are not the responsibility of MSR and any inconvenience caused by this. MSR does not provide part codes nor does it provide supplier details although all parts fitted will appear on paperwork under their common names. (5A)
We will not carry out modifications to any vehicle that is deemed to be dangerous, illegal or otherwise questionable in its nature. We accept no liability for any modification requested by customers that results in the failure of MOT tests or invalidates vehicle insurance. (5B)
We will not bypass any emissions control system or safety system on a vehicle that is to be used on public roads. Any other class vehicle must have relevant paperwork to prove it is registered and the owner in the possession of the correct license for its new purpose. (5C)
We cannot provide key coding on certain vehicles due to a higher level security system in place. We will not perform security system modifications without clear proof of ownership and identity. (6A)
Pre-purchase checks are designed to provide the customer a more detailed view of a potential purchase. It is NOT for the purpose of providing the customer with a monetary value of a vehicle. Technicians cannot speculate on the true value of a vehicle nor can they be involved in negotiation of value. Technicians are entirely impartial in this respect and cannot be held responsible for 'buyers remorse'. MSR is not responsible for failure of any vehicle component after ownership is transferred to the prospective buyer. Our technicians can however, provide an estimate for repairs/ service after transfer of ownership. (6A)
Pre-sale checks do not include refilling of fluids, replacement of components or advanced diagnostics. We will not provide any diagnostics read out sheet. We will check tire pressure, tire condition, fluid levels, lighting systems, battery condition, body condition,
windscreen wiper condition, body component function and additional areas specified by customer (extra charges apply dependent on nature of the check). (7A)
MSR will not tolerate abuse of employees whether it be physical violence or verbal abuse. Any incidents will be logged and reported to relevant authorities. Any log made against any customer will result in a permanent 'blacklist' status resulting in refusal of service indefinitely. (7B)
Payments not received within the pre agreed period may incur late payment fees. Refusal to pay fees will result in delay in delivery of paperwork, 'blacklisting' and legal proceedings for the recovery of funds. (7C)
If work is unable to be carried out when a technician arrives at the vehicle due to the customer not divulging essential information, working condition standards are not being met or sufficient ownership/ identification paperwork is not presented then a callout charge of 40 GDP will still apply. (7D)
Payment for labor, transport and parts totalling more than $100 is required to be paid up front before a booking can be made or parts can be ordered. Diagnostics that lead to immediate work that exceeds a total value of $100 also require immediate upfront payment to cover costs. (8)

You may request the deletion of your information from our records however we retain information regarding work carried out on a vehicle and the financial transactions related to this.
