Today I’m celebrating a very special milestone — my eldest daughter turning 26 💖

Becoming a mother, and especially raising a child with special needs, has been the most emotional and life-changing journey. It’s brought challenges I never expected, but also a depth of love, strength, and resilience that has shaped who I am today. Millie has a rare genetic condition called Williams Syndrome.

She sees the world with complete openness. Strangers aren’t strangers — they’re all friends. She notices the small things most of us rush past, and finds joy in moments we might overlook. Music isn’t just something to listen to, it’s something she feels deeply with joy.

She leads with kindness, trust, and a genuine curiosity about people. Where many of us build walls, she builds connections.

Of course, there are challenges that come with Williams syndrome, but her way of seeing the world is a powerful reminder of what really matters — connection, joy, and kindness.

Those experiences and challenges haven’t just stayed within my family life — they’ve deeply influenced the way I show up in my business and have made me be the nurse and person that I am. They’ve taught me patience, understanding, empathy, and the importance of truly listening and caring for others.

Everything I do, both personally and professionally, is rooted in those lessons. And today, I’m just feeling incredibly grateful — for the journey, for the growth, and for the woman it’s helped me become.
