The family of David Charles Tapp (Dave) have asked us to share the following announcement.

Dave passed away peacefully at Wrexham Maelor Hospital on 24th December 2025, aged 79 years. He was a beloved husband, dad, father-in-law, grandad, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. His funeral service will be held at Flintshire Crematorium, Northop on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at 2pm. Family flowers only please, donations will be gratefully received in memory of Dave for NEWCIS, Flintshire Young Carers, which was Dave's chosen charity during his golf club Captain's year. The family of Mark Roberts have asked us to share the following announcement.
Mark passed away on 4th December 2025 at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, aged 53 years. He was a loving doggy dad to Tilly, beloved son of the late Gaynor and Lol, much loved brother of Netty and brother-in-law of Carl, dearly loved uncle of Jess and great-uncle of Kyla, Cadie and Cian and a dear nephew of Susan and Joanne.
His funeral service will be held at Flintshire Crematorium, Northop on Tuesday 30th December at 12pm. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Mark will be gratefully received for Crohn's Disease charity,

As the year draws to a close, it’s common to think of the people who are special to us – especially those we've lost. That’s why we’ve chosen to take part in Light a Candle.

Here at Busby & Kane we have seen an increase in marketing activity from some national direct cremation providers.
Many people aren’t even aware that their local independent funeral director offers the same direct cremation services, let me assure you that this is something we have always offered.

We’re pleased to announce the return of Light a Candle this Christmas!

Taking part in this Christmas’s Light a Candle gives you the opportunity to create online memorials throughout the festive period.

Christmas is a special time to celebrate with family and friends, and our virtual candles are a thoughtful way to pay tribute to loved ones who are no longer with us.

We'll be sharing virtual candles on our page between 15 and 21 December. There's no cost for you or your family to get involved and create an online memorial.

❤️Those we have lost are never out of our thoughts, and never more so than at Christmas time.
We have in place a Christmas Memorial Tree in both of our offices, remembering all those we have loved and lost, and we invite you to place a message for them onto the tree.
Tags for you to write your message on are now in place in our offices in Buckley and Shotton (Monday to Friday – 10am to 4pm).
