From 02 March - 16 March we’ll be posting remembrance candles as a special token to those who can’t be with us this Mother’s Day.

The family of David Charles Tapp (Dave) have asked us to share the following announcement.

Dave passed away peacefully at Wrexham Maelor Hospital on 24th December 2025, aged 79 years. He was a beloved husband, dad, father-in-law, grandad, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. His funeral service will be held at Flintshire Crematorium, Northop on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at 2pm. Family flowers only please, donations will be gratefully received in memory of Dave for NEWCIS, Flintshire Young Carers, which was Dave's chosen charity during his golf club Captain's year.
