Nightingale House Nightingale House offers personal care for 45 older people and also caters for people with physical Bedrooms are single occupancy, many with Ensuite facilities.

Situated in the village of Bucknall close to the Lincolnshire wolds, Nightingale House is a detached property standing in approximately One acre of grounds. The home is single storey and spacious, offering residents a choice of dining and day rooms. You need not be alone at Nightingale House. You will meet new friends and have the opportunity of joining in with the regular activities and entertainment. Visitors are welcome at anytime and the home is very much involved in village activity. We aim to treat everyone as an individual with dignity, respect and encourage them to make the most of there stay with us. Residents are able to personalise their rooms. You may choose to make Nightingale your permanent home or come and stay with us on a short-term basis. Please could we ask that if you need to park outside of our car park that you ensure the paths are left clear for pedestrians.

We’ve become aware of vehicles that are still parking across the pavement on the Main Street, near the Old School House. There is a bit of hardstanding where around three vehicles can park to the edge, leaving the path clear. Sadly, people are parking across the pavement so people can’t walk by without leaving the footpath. It’s worse for mobility scooter users, or those with pushchairs, etc.

Please spread the word if you are having visitors – we have liaised with the Bucknall Primary School and Nightingale House and will continue to tackle this. The ground is too broken to paint a line unfortunately, and LCC will not resurface it at this time. Any help to stop this happening will be grateful appreciated.

There will be disruption tomorrow Wednesday 21st as we have flooring replaced in the middle of the home. It will be impassible for large periods of the day!

Nomination forms available in the home or contact us in the usual ways, to let us know why you think that staff member is worthy. The employee with the most votes will be awarded a cash incentive! This is something we do every 3 months and can go to any of the staff, so keep your votes coming 🏆💷💷
