Nightingale House

Nightingale House Nightingale House offers personal care for 45 older people and also caters for people with physical Bedrooms are single occupancy, many with Ensuite facilities.

Situated in the village of Bucknall close to the Lincolnshire wolds, Nightingale House is a detached property standing in approximately One acre of grounds. The home is single storey and spacious, offering residents a choice of dining and day rooms. You need not be alone at Nightingale House. You will meet new friends and have the opportunity of joining in with the regular activities and entertainment. Visitors are welcome at anytime and the home is very much involved in village activity. We aim to treat everyone as an individual with dignity, respect and encourage them to make the most of there stay with us. Residents are able to personalise their rooms. You may choose to make Nightingale your permanent home or come and stay with us on a short-term basis. Thank you to staff, residents and visitors that took the time to nominate for our employee recognition. This quarters award went to Nicola receiving £50, with some wonderful comments:
• Terri at resident meeting she would like to nominate Nicola and said she worked incredibly hard
• Taking on cook role and always happy to help
• Nicola is fantastic! She deals with all my dietary variations (my mouth is so sore at times!) She is very patient! She always opens my curtains and gives me an account of the weather outside and how the drive was coming in. Living indoors one has no idea of the outside world!! Lastly Nicola asks if I’m ready or should she come back later with it! A Real treasure!
• A lovely young girl – always cheerful and happy to serve. Thank you.
• I feel she has grown into a great person since starting here. She is always lovely with the residents, and knows what they like. She has gone from a shy girl to a confident young lady.

We are now starting to take nominations for the next award in May, remember any staff are able to be nominated.

A massive congratulations to Jacky who celebrates 20 years with us, though we must apologise for being a few days late as it was actually the 6th February! Jacky has always been willing to help out in most of the roles in the home and step in at short notice where needed! We thank you for your commitment to the home and residents 🎉🥳
