🥕 Roots & Remembrance
We kicked off the weekend in the garden for International Carrot Day. Planting seeds in our new planters sparked wonderful conversations, as residents shared stories and memories of tending to their own allotments over the years.

🎨 Easter Creativity
Our notice board has never looked brighter! It’s now filled with handmade cards and Easter bunnies created during our craft sessions—a colorful testament to the talent and spirit of our residents.

🐰 A Very Fluffy Thank You!
A massive thank you to Tammy for bringing in her beautiful bunnies on Easter Monday! In honor of National Pet Month, these fluffy visitors provided some wonderful pet therapy. The joy and smiles they brought to everyone were undoubtedly the highlight of the day. 💕

✨ Weekend Highlights
Reflection: Joining together for the Easter Service and the Pope’s address was a moving and bittersweet experience for many.

Community Kindness: A huge shout-out to our local community champions for donating Easter eggs—the smiles on everyone's faces said it all!

Festive Dining: Our kitchen team outdid themselves with a traditional lamb dinner and an array of sweet treats.

Classic Cinema: We capped off the festivities with some sunshine on the screen, enjoying Easter Parade and Doris Day classics.

Thank you to everyone—staff, residents, and visitors—who made this weekend so incredibly special. 🌷✨

It has been a busy and productive start to the month for our residents! 🌸

We kicked things off with our monthly meeting to finalise our April calendar and gather some great suggestions for May, ensuring everyone has a voice in our upcoming plans. 📅

The creativity then shifted into high gear as residents joined Ros for Easter crafts, decorating ornaments and eggs for a beautiful seasonal tree. 🎨🥚

The theme continued into Baking Club, where the group whipped up a batch of tasty Easter cakes that were a hit during afternoon tea. 🧁☕

We wrapped up the week with meaningful one-on-one time and a few lively rounds of Hangman, making for a perfect balance of community spirit and personal connection. ✨🧩

A massive thank you to the incredible team at Starbikers and the community champions at Asda and Tesco! 🐣✨

Thanks to their amazing donations of Easter eggs and raffle prizes, our activities teams have been busy delivering treats to all our residents today. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces has been the highlight of our week!

Beyond the treats, this generosity has helped all three of our homes raise vital funds for extra resident activities. We are so grateful to have such a supportive community behind us. 💙🦆

We’ve had a fantastic day of celebrations here! We kicked things off with Irish music playing all day to keep the energy high, followed by a delicious, traditional Irish stew served with fresh bread and, of course, a little Guinness! 🥣🍺

Our residents also settled in to watch the incredible Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, it was a huge hit and definitely got some toes tapping! 🕺✨

Things got a little competitive with our St. Paddy’s target game! Everyone gave it their all throwing velcro balls to snag the top spot. A huge congratulations to our winner, Anne, who took home a beautiful bracelet as her prize! 🏆✨

The highlight for many was our live acoustic entertainment by Dan. He was absolutely brilliant, and our residents haven’t stopped talking about him! His talent really brought the room to life and created such a wonderful atmosphere. 🎸🎶
