Feeling so grateful to be here!!
New client booked me to do a treatment on a dog with aggressive problems, not new for me, done loads before now, some of my be best public appearances are working on aggressive dogs I’ve never met!
Within seconds of being invited into a house I had never been to before, suddenly a pack of dogs was running at me, that didn’t bother me, as I have a pack at home too, funny enough! 😆 but in there was the aggressive one!
Never in a million years did I think she would do that!! I found myself in a position to be severely attacked when I had nothing to block the attack or defend myself, and the crazy thing is the woman consciously knew what she had done thinking I had a one off fix to her problems with this dog, there was several others that had problems too, the biggest concern was she had no true control over the rest of them either!! 🤔
The bizarre thing is I actually briefed her upon her booking the dog in that I didn’t want the other dogs to be around, seven dogs in total, and that I wanted to work with her dog on it’s own!!
I full well know as a rule when one dog reacts another will react too, then another and another, and before you know you it you have a pack of aggressive dogs! 😳
So appreciated my gorgeous bunch of bouncy, fluffy, hard work but worth it obedient dogs! When I got home, it could of easily turned out so different 🥰 xx
The biggest lesson i learnt from it was to never assume when someone has a serious amount of dogs that they actually have some control or even some basic training skills, non of them responded to the recall command, thank god I knew what to do in an emergency and in a instant second!! 😳
