LOVELY JOB OPPORTUNITIES🥰
We Currently have positions for:

Bude Area
*Weekend Carers
*Full Time Carers
*Part Time Carers

You must have a big smile that will make each client’s face light up when they welcome you at the door.🙂s each day is varied, you’ll need to think on your feet…and it helps to be light on them too as clients often enjoy a dance following afternoon tea or a waltz on the way to the bathroom.💃🕺
A good pair of eyes and ears are essential. Ears to listen to a lifetime's worth of amazing stories, and eyes to help them find their things if they’ve been misplaced!
You find joy in the little moments in life. A cuppa made “just right” or spending that extra 5 minutes plaiting hair.
The job is varied with each client depending on their needs, you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves to cook in the kitchen, or bring in some flowers from the garden!
Timekeeping is crucial, you should arrive on time, take your time to listen, take time to understand and take time to care - we measure time in hours, and each one matters.
A GCSE in history is not required, but helping a client relive their memories by flicking through a photo album together will be sure to make their day.
You’ll need to bring oodles of patience, and a sense of humour. We’re a social bunch who love getting together for regular training (and parties!) and we’ll always be there to support you no matter what.
If you tick some of these boxes, then a job at Town and Country Care Services might tick yours.
We have both walking and driving rounds available.

With the freezing cold weather approaching please remember to check in on your vulnerable loved ones, neighbours and friends.
This simple act of kindness could make such a difference ✨️ ❤️

⚠️COLD WEATHER ALERT ISSUED BY THE UK HEALTH SECURITY AGENCY⚠️
Valid from 2 January 2025 at 12:00pm until Wednesday the 8th of January.

An amber cold weather alert has been issued by the UK Health Security Agency. We are expecting bitterly cold temperatures with some locations falling to below freezing, this is likely to have an impact on the elderly, vulnerable and those with medical issues. This alert means that cold weather is expected to be felt for an extended period of time, therefore it may we wise to check on neighbours that may live alone, the elderly and making sure they are kept warm.
Indoor temperatures should be kept at a comfortable 18C, nighttime pulling curtains this will help to hold in heat. Wearing several layers of thin clothing will help to give you an insulation layer, also always having a blanket to hand if sat down will make things a little cosier.

Please keep an eye on our page for further updates.

Stay safe and warm.
Penny,
KWT
