🌿 Tomorrow Evening – Live Webinar 🌿

I’m really looking forward to sharing tomorrow’s live session:

The Conscious Brain: Perception, Identity and the Embodied Self

This webinar is an invitation to explore the brain not just as an organ, but as something living, relational, and deeply involved in how we experience ourselves and the world.

We’ll be exploring:
– How perception shapes identity
– The relationship between brain, consciousness, and the embodied self
– How trauma and healing can transform our sense of who we are
– A clinical perspective on concussion and recovery

This is for practitioners, students, and anyone interested in a more integrated and human understanding of the brain and healing.
If you feel called, you would be very welcome to join us.

✨ Live tomorrow, 19:30 GMT

🌿 The Conscious Brain – Live Webinar | This Thursday

This Thursday evening, I’ll be hosting a live online session exploring the relationship between the brain, consciousness, and the embodied self.

In clinical practice, we often meet the brain through symptoms.
But what happens when we begin to understand it as something living, responsive, and deeply connected to our sense of self?

In this session, we will explore:
• how the brain relates to the unfolding of identity
• how trauma can interrupt this relationship
• how healing can invite a reorganisation of perception and self-experience
• reflections from clinical practice, including concussion recovery

This is an invitation to look beyond the brain as a fixed structure — and begin to perceive it as part of a dynamic, evolving human process.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been exploring a question that sits at the heart of my work:

What is the relationship between the brain, consciousness, and the embodied self—and how does this shape the process of healing?

This inquiry has taken form through two recent journal articles:
• The Brain, Consciousness & the Embodied Self
• Case Study: The Conscious Brain – From Insight to Practice

Together, they move from reflection into clinical experience—particularly through the lens of concussion and recovery, and how healing can open the possibility for a deeper integration of self.

This coming Thursday, I’ll be bringing these reflections into a live webinar:

The Conscious Brain: Perception, Identity & the Embodied Self

In this session, we will explore how the brain is not simply something we treat, but something that participates in the ongoing formation of perception, identity, and awareness.

We’ll also consider how trauma—and the process of healing—can become a gateway into a more authentic and embodied experience of being.

If this speaks to you, you are very welcome to join.

This week I’ll be hosting my live webinar:

The Living Liver — A Relational View of a Living Organ
đź“… 26 February 2026
đź•° 19:30 GMT

Over the past weeks I’ve shared reflections on meeting the liver not simply as a detox organ — but as a living, rhythmic and relational presence within the human being.

In this 90-minute session we’ll explore:

• The liver as a participatory organ
• Rhythm, metabolism and lived physiology
• A clinical case study
• Integrative discussion and live Q&A

The full recording and transcript are included for all participants.

If you’ve been meaning to join — this is your gentle reminder.

Over the past few weeks I’ve been sharing reflections from my liver journal series — exploring the liver as something living, rhythmic, and relational.

Next week I’m bringing these reflections into a live 90-minute webinar:

The Living Liver — A Relational View of a Living Organ
đź“… 26 February 2026
đź•° 19:30 GMT

In this session we will explore:
• The liver beyond detox — as a participatory organ
• Rhythm, metabolism and lived physiology
• A clinical case study
• Integrative discussion and Q&A

Participants will receive the full recording and transcript afterwards.

This webinar is for practitioners, students, and anyone who wishes to meet physiology not as mechanism — but as life in motion.

When we study the liver in isolation, we move far from its living reality.
But when we see it in life — in its movement, its rhythms, its relations — something else emerges.

The liver does not hold its own form like a kidney does.
Instead, its shape is given by its surroundings — the diaphragm, the stomach, the ribs — much like how water takes the form of its vessel.

This fluid nature is reflected in its internal life too:
• It expands and receives during the day.
• It draws inward and transforms during the night.

It mediates between the outer world and our inner organism — transforming everything that arrives into what can nourish and sustain us.

Understanding the liver as living process — not just anatomy — shifts how we think about health, treatment, and experience itself.

I’ll be sharing more reflections like this soon — including how these perspectives will inform my upcoming webinar.

In my clinical work, I’ve come to experience the liver less as something to manage or correct, and more as a living, rhythmic process that responds when we slow down and listen.

This way of seeing has gradually changed how I practise — moving away from imposing solutions, and towards supporting the body’s own capacity for reorganisation and healing.

I’ve written more fully about this in my first online journal, The Living Liver: From Insight to Practice, now available on my website.

I share these journals as a way of reflecting on practice, and I also offer one-to-one clinical mentoring, alongside a newsletter for those interested in this relational, embodied approach to healing.
