Due to the Corona virus I am teaching online via Zoom from my studio by the sea. Sally started teaching fitness in1987 with a qualification in exercise to music and since then built on her training. This included teaching all various populations from children to seniors, and even anti / post natal women. In 2000 Sally began teaching Pilates. She completed her training with the Body control Pilates Association to become a Master Mat work teacher, with further training in anti / post natal Pilates. Sally became hooked on Pilates and teaches several classes and private session every week within Bude and North Cornwall. She believes it is the best way to keep the body strong and stretched, therefore enabling people to stay fit or enhance sports performance in athletes. Pilates focuses on the connection between the body and the mind to significantly improve the bodies functioning, consequently reducing the risk of injury. Sally’s training is updated every year with workshops and courses to broaden and deepen her knowledge. Sally became deeply inspired by the astonishing work of Australian surfer Douglas Heel’s ‘Be Activated’ – this course empowers people to activate the correct muscles for the body to function at it optimum, its defiantly worth a read.
