Sarah Miller Soft Tissue Therapy & Pilates I have BTEC level 5 Diploma in Sports and Remedial massage, gained at the London School of Sports Massage 2011.

I trained as a general nurse in1992 and spent 18 happy years in nursing specialising in Intensive Care, Cardiac and latterly practice nursing. After having my children I felt a different career was needed and re-trained in Soft Tissue Therapy. As part of my continuing professional development I am required to do 5 study days a year. I have done further studies in functional movement, kinesiology

taping, myofascial release, anatomy trains, connective tissue manipulation and intensive shoulder work. I believe our bodies are a product of behaviour and enjoy working with clients to over-come their challenges and problems.

The lovely Kaz Melvin!

Kaz believes that Pilates is about learning how to move your body with confidence, control and without fear.

Kaz is a qualified Neuro- Physiotherapist who runs her own private practice. Kaz has used Pilates personally from a young age in competitive sport and now uses Pilates techniques regularly within her Physiotherapy treatment with neurological patients. Kaz has completed her Matwork Pilates Training with APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) and is now enjoying combining her Physiotherapy knowledge and Pilates skills.

Kaz offers massages from our treatment room on a Wednesday evening. (please contact us via email to book and appointment.)

She also teaches 2 mat classes on a Monday evening:

The Pilates reformer is an amazing piece of apparatus like no other, which helps you to find length and space in the body while under spring tension.

We have a New Beginners class starting Tuesday 30th April 10.30am

We are a small, friendly studio in Bude with 3 Apparatus, we currently hold 12 group session a week, our timetable is growing month by month.

Far from just a workout for your core, this piece of apparatus helps create internal pressure to elongate the spine, joints and muscles which then leads to greater flexibility, strength, stamina and a more balanced posture.

This type of physical and mental workout is even more relevant now due to lifestyle factors such as long working days, being seated for long periods of time, and mental health aspects, to name just a few.
