One shop you’re a size 16… the next shop you’re an 18… and somewhere else you’re a 14. It can leave you standing in a changing room wondering what on earth is going on.

The truth is, you’re not imagining it. Clothing sizes aren’t standardised. Every retailer sets their own measurements and uses different fit models, which means the same β€œsize” can vary massively from one brand to another. Add in things like vanity sizing, where clothes are labelled more generously, and it’s no wonder it can feel like a guessing game.

I see this all the time with people I support. That number on the label can affect how someone feels about themselves far more than it should. But the reality is… it’s not you, it’s the system.

Your worth isn’t defined by a clothing label. And your confidence shouldn’t depend on a number stitched inside a dress.

When people start focusing on their health, their energy and how they feel in their body, something lovely happens. Clothes start to fit better, but more importantly, confidence grows from within.

And that’s the part that truly matters.
