An excellent point, especially at this time of year. Look after your skin by using cleanser specifically designed for facial care. https://www.facebook.com/116008771941898/posts/938697756339658/?sfnsn=mo

Please don't use soap on your face!

Lately I've been explaining to many clients why ...

Using soap on your skin removes your skin's natural moisture and protection barrier- lipids and sebum - as well as dirt!

The natural barrier breaks down allowing water to leach out of the skin, making it dry and feel tight. This also irritants, bacteria and allergens into the skin and can cause breakouts and loss of hyaluronic acid.

Soap increases the pH of the skin and damages the skin's immunity.

So make sure instead to use the right cleanser for your skin type.

And if you need help, just ask!

Some more useful foot tips you can try

Summer is the season of sandals, wedges, and espadrilles, and it’s high time we remember our feet. Yes, those poor feet we often forget about, though they keep us moving. The calluses, cracks, and dry skin that appears when we ignore their needs can be both unattractive and painful. So what we can...

Great post from about the impacts of modern footwear
👣
There are a total of 28 bones in the foot (including 2 sesamoid), you multiply that by 2 and you have a total of 56 bones. Knowing that we have 206 bones in the body we can say that majority of the bones in the body lies in the feet (206/56=27.2 percent)
👣
We also have 33 joints and more than a hundred muscles, tendons and ligaments in the foot. Our feet are meant to be supple and mobile, adapting to different environments (flat land, uphill, uneven terrain etc...) through standing, walking and running. The space between the bones of our foot are very important, without sufficient space our foot will loose its suppleness
👣
A compressed foot is not a happy foot. If 27.2% of our bones are not moving while we walk, squat, lunge etc.. in a full body loaded position, something else needs to move upstream and only time will tell when our knees, hips, low back, midback and neck all of a sudden begin to ache and hurt
👣
When we look at the foot of a baby or young child, the toes are nicely splayed out. This foot is optimal for balance and walking. In certain parts of the world where people either still go barefoot majority of the time, or barefoot a 100% there foot widen out like a fan from heel to toes. So what happened?
👣
With modern society and fashion(beauty over function), many shoes created are not designed for optimal function. Usually having a heel lift and cramming up the toes in the front. Overtime we become weak footed, loose our suppleness and the shape of our foot changes
👣
Solution? Pick a shoe that doesn’t have a heel and that is wider in the front. Take your shoes off and let your feet breathe and go barefoot more often. Challenge your feet by walking on uneven surfaces and different terrains. Mobilize the foot with a lacrosse ball and strengthen them up!!!

If you have trouble reaching your feet, use a long handled nail brush to make sure they get cleaned properly.

A nail brush will quickly remove excess dead skin from the sides of your nails if used daily. Always brush away from the body at the fingertips and toes. 😀

Anyone over 40 should moisturise every day. Our skin loses its elasticity, thins and becomes more susceptible to temperature change.
This is particularly important on your feet to prevent hard skin accumulating.

Proper foot care is as simple as changing your socks everyday. 🙂
