Handed over to Sgt Liam Sheridan DL1 today for use during their tracing and drill exercises.
We are proud of our links to our armed forces and being an Armed Forces Covenant signatory, I strongly believe these gestures help serve those who serve.

A month into the new year so a little behind the curve but as we continue to push price transparency across our profession we offer these inclusive packages as well as our bespoke funeral service. Visits to our chapel of rest are ALWAYS included as I don’t believe our care should change at the funeral home whether anyone is going to the service or not.

I don’t often share my TikTok videos on here but this is an important one. We all see adverts for the big companies offering direct cremations, but us little guys do it so much better. Cared for personally here in Budleigh, visits to our chapel of rest allowed, transferred for cremation in our hearse, at a date and time agreed with the family. And to cap it off, we are cheaper than the “big 3”, we just don’t have £27 million a year to throw at advertising!

A wonderful turnout at the war memorial in Budleigh this morning despite the gale force winds for a heartfelt service delivered by Reverend Robert Charles.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.

Wow! 4 years ago today we opened our doors and what a journey it has been!
Thank you to everyone that has played even a small part in what we strive to do, serve our community the best we can.
Since opening Otter Valley and having the opportunity to follow my mantra “The answer is Yes, what is the question” we have been able to care for more families this year than ever before and more 5* feedback so we know we are doing it right. Here’s to year 5, who knows what it will bring, hopefully no more broken wrists…. Sy
