In June 2019 East Devon Health launched a student placement programme for students from schools across East Devon. The aim of the programme was to centrally co-ordinate and offer placements to students interested in careers as Doctors in General Practice, particularly for students who may not otherwise have opportunities to access placements in a surgery.
