It’s February at last 👏. I’ve been a little quiet on socials in 2026 mainly because I’ve been renovating at work. Wallpaper stripping, painting and designing a new space. In March we will be launching our 3rd treatment room at Magic Touch and I’m so excited for the things we have lined up for you wonderful clients ! This year will be our busiest yet and I’m definitely fired 🔥 🐎 up for it . If you know any Massage Therapists, Reflexologists or other Holistic Practitioners that are looking to find a unique and friendly space to work from please tag them below. In the mean time if you are in dire need of a Massage (as I was last week after all the graft) please drop me a message and we can get you booked in. Throwback to the time Sammy seal 🦭 made an appearance in Budleigh and I got to live this magical experience of being at one with nature. I’ve been thinking about the sea 🌊 a lot since the Christmas Day tragedy when two local men lost their lives. Mother Nature can be incredibly moving and beautiful but it can also be ferocious, dangerous and destructive. The ocean just like human emotions can be calm and serene one day and change quickly to be angry and volatile. Sometimes nature also has to let go of what it is holding. As we move through January you may also feel yourself having to let go. This may cause you to feel exhausted 😴, emotional or like you just need to be alone to process. I am seeing lots of this in treatment since I’ve returned from the Christmas break. If you are needing some support emotionally and physically or just want some time out to decompress and feel back in your body, we have appointments available with the wonderful Rowena for massage and Reiki energy healing on Mondays , Wednesdays and some Saturdays. As a business so close to where the Christmas Day Budleigh swim takes place, we are heartbroken by the news of two men missing at sea. Our thoughts go out to the families and friends affected. I will be holding a collection on December 30th at Magic Touch on Rolle Road Budleigh for the RNLI and Rescue services that did us proud on the day in such terrible conditions. If you would like to donate I will be leaving a collection at the front door of the building. My thoughts are with the local community who are deeply affected by this terrible tragedy 🙏

Take a moment and look how far you have come 👀. Seriously have you taken a minute to even look at what you have accomplished this year ? I have to say I have seen some people really achieve things this year. Seeing others open their own business, train in something new, having babies 👶 and others really working hard and balancing life as parents, giving lots to their work, health, family and friends. You should be proud of yourselves and everything you have achieved this year. We live in ever turbulent and changing times and to stay true to ourselves, our calling and how we want to live is a task. Give yourself a pat on the back for how far you have travelled this year. You have transformed and walked through a new door 🚪a new version of yourself - take a pause to honour this growth 🙏 🎄 🌎. X

It’s not even the 1st December and we did over £500 of vouchers last week 😮 🤩 which is so amazing I am thrilled ! Love a Facebook reminder ❤️ 11 years ago today I brought this little fella to my homeland of Devon for a little holiday. Little did I know then that our lives would soon be turned upside down and we would end up moving to Budleigh Salterton! Thinking about the journey of Motherhood and the lovely new clients I have seen over the last two weeks with newborns I am always amazed at the resilience of women. We show up every day as Mothers - we do it bone tired, we do it sick, we do it broken at times with life’s challenges that get thrown at us but regardless we keep going 💪 There is nothing more powerful than a Mothers love 🦁 but we need to be looked after too. We need care, support and understanding and Iove from those around us to help get us through whether this is from a partner, family or our mum village of friends. To be at our best our cups need to be full ☕️ so we have the capacity to be the best mums we can be. To those reading this that may be having a hard time - remember this too shall pass and it is ok to ask for help when you need it. If there are any mums needing some TLC please drop me a message and let’s get you on the warm massage table and help you to feel better ❤️‍🩹 🙏 We have some appointments available next week so please drop me a message x
