To all the staff at Pinewood Nursing Home,

I want to thank you all for the wonderful care that you gave to Angela in the short time that she was with you. You couldn’t have been more attentive, kind and caring and that gave me such peace of mind with living so far away.

(Thank you too for the cups of tea and biscuits!)

Yesterday, the lovely Zoe set up and treated the residents to a Spa afternoon. Face masks and foot spas were on the treat list! It was a very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon enjoyed by everyone who took part. Thank you, Zoe 🛁 🫧

One of our residents' families has been working hard over the weekend to fundraise for Hospiscare, a charity very close to their hearts.

Over the weekend, all funds raised were doubled, in the biggest event Hospiscare have undertaken.

Kim and her family helped Hospiscare raise over £500,000! What an amazing amount - well done to everyone involved 👏🏼

We are looking forward to our activities this week, and the sun seems to be putting in an appearance too 🤞🏻 ☀️
