Fancy getting wet? Mid & North Powys Mind have an afternoon of water sports for 16+ at The Lake, Llandrindod Wells from 13:00 to 15:00. Try some paddle boarding, ride in a dragon boat or have a go in a canoe. This event will obviously be subject to water quality.

Lately I’ve noticed how much time I’ve been spending online. It’s crept up quietly, a post here, a scroll there, until it’s taken up more space than I’d like.

It’s time for me to shift that balance. For now, I won’t be posting as often, not daily, and maybe not even weekly. I’ll still be here, but I’m choosing to be more present and available for myself and the people I love.

Therapy has taught me the value of living aligned with our values, and right now, mine are asking for more real-world time, more stillness, more connection offline.

Thank you for being here, and for understanding. I look forward to sharing again when the moment feels right.

We’ve been taught to measure our worth in output, to see stillness as wasted time. But your body isn’t a machine, it’s a living system that needs seasons. Just as fields lie fallow so they can grow again, we too need pauses to restore.

Rest is not an absence of progress. It’s where your nervous system recalibrates, your creativity regathers, and your resilience quietly strengthens.

So today, let yourself stop without guilt. Lie down, watch the light move across the wall, take that nap, or just breathe.

You’re not falling behind, you’re laying the ground for what’s next.
