We spent today getting creative ahead of our Greece Day celebration tomorrow 🇬🇷
We painted flags to make bunting and made a map — a lovely way to explore and learn about Greece.

This morning we attended Musical lifelines at Bungay community centre. We learnt a new song which we put actions to. We also were very lucky to meet up with some lovely residents from Holmwood Care home.
Caroline also treated us to playing a piece of music on her violin 🎻 called Romance….❤️‍🔥
Afterwards we enjoyed a piece of carrot cake, lovingly made by Caroline with a cuppa ☕️

Lovely Sonya our great domestic made some delicious cakes for all the staff today, she is a great baker, Sonya in the words of Oliver….. please sir can i have some more 🧁 😃 ❤️

Busy Thursday
Everyone was a little sleepy this morning so we put some music on and started to dance, we encouraged the residents and staff to join in, they waved their arms and wiggled in their seats and enjoyed watching myself, Justeen and Paris do silly dance moves.
After lunch we had a relaxing spa afternoon having face masks applied, foot and hand massages and nails painted, the lounge was so chilled and the smell of lavender along with soft spa music sent some off to sleep 💤 happy day 😃

Great soup lunch today at Broome Village hall, it was French themed, all the ladies made a effort to dress up they looked great, the soups on offer were French onion and mushroom with homemade rolls then some amazing homemade desserts 🍨
Thank you to all the great ladies that work hard for this to happen, we really do appreciate you all. Xx

When the sun shines the best thing to do is get out and enjoy it.
This morning a couple of the ladies enjoyed a lovely walk to our local shop to do some shopping then we sat on a bench to watch the world go by ☀️ 👀 Margaret who is new to the area commented what a lovely area we all live in and how nice it is to have a good local shop 🏬
After lunch a couple of the gents went for a lovely cold pint at the pub 🍺 happy Tuesday #🍺

One to one Monday, today Paris and I spent some time with individual resident’s, we done some online shopping, played games and had a boogie.
We also had a residents meeting where we talked about food, staff, activities and the environment they live in, we encourage everyone to have a voice, there home there say 🗣️

Morning church service was for the Season of Easter. No Holly communion today but a very thought provoking service! We enjoyed some beautiful hymns accompanied by the church organ which sounded amazing!
Before going home for our delicious Sunday roast dinner we needed to get some provisions from Morrisons…. We bumped into our lovely Paula which was a lovely treat 🩷.
This afternoon several of our residents enjoyed visits from their families 🥰

Busy Friday today at Bungay House…..
Some of our residents needed to top up on their supplies so we nipped into Morrisons in Beccles.
Margaret, Joy and Una fancied a nice film so they chose Till the Clouds Roll By! Margaret was in fine voice singing 🎶 along🥰
After lunch Joan and the manager Sophie popped into Highways Garden centre. Joan is very keen to plant a herb garden. Was lovely finding out how knowledgeable Joan is regarding all the different plants and shrubs.
