One of my favourite wild flowers is Yarrow. There is something whimsical and mystical about this delicate bloom. The Latin name for Yarrow comes from Achilles who was said to have given Yarrow to his soldiers to heal wounds and stanch bleeding during the Trojan War. Yarrow also has divination properties and it has been used for thousands of years to enhance psychic work and spells. Yarrow embodies harmony and helps to cleanse and bring relief from patterns of disharmony and sorrow. Such a beautiful plant that I'm lucky enough to have discovered growing abundantly near my home.
I will be brewing up something very special with Yarrow for the Apothecary very soon 🌿🌿
