Practising what I preach last night at Hannah Irons Equestrian - Rider Biomechanics & Fitness circuit training 🏋‍♀️💪🏻

I get adjusted regularly by Tomma and Ann (did you know Tomma has treated me since I was 11! Which feels like much longer even though I'm obvs only 21 👀🤥), and I'm doing the strengthening work with Hannah to make my musculoskeletal system as strong and balanced as possible. Hopefully Ginnie will see my hard work is paying off when we are back having lessons after Bumble's holiday 🤞🏻

Despite being bullied viciously by Helen to do heavier weights 💀 these groups are a great laugh with great people and Hannah is fab! Even if she did make my eyebrows sweat 🥵

Out of office dates 📅

Just to let you know in advance of dates I wont be available for the rest of the year
⛺️ October 16th - 19th as Bumble is off to camp at Somerford 🏇
🎄 Over Christmas my last day will be the 23rd Dec and I'll be back on 2nd Jan

Hopefully that helps you make a plan for yourselves and your animals if you need me 😎

🌟 Before and after 🌟
I'm not a huge fan of before and after photos as there are so many variants, but I was glad I captured this in clinic today.
👕 The lines of the t-shirt and the way the fabric hangs, shows the change in tension and restriction in the space of about 20 minutes.
🦴 The tension in the shoulders, the rounding through the thoracics, the tilt and rotation of the pelvis... all improved! And with it, the back pain this patient had in their low back and the ribs on their right side, had gone 🙌🏻

Our new bit of kit arrived today, its having its first spin giving some PEMF to Dash 🐎💨

I spoke to a vet this morning who said that although it's improved over the years thanks to awareness, there are a lot of animals of all varieties needing treatment for heatstroke.

PLEASE consider whether its the right decision to travel and compete your horses at the moment 🥵

Horse first, sport second 🐴 Would that win feel just as good if you were then having to ring your vet for help when you got home, because your horse is unwell? Or even worse, if you lost them?

The same goes for dogs, cats, bunnies, and all our animals. Please do what's best for them 🙏🏻

I'm back from our 2 weeks off and have started the week with some lovely horses this morning 🐴🐴🐴 I think I've caught up on my messages so please let me know if I need to get back to you.

📝 There's a slight change to my work week going forward as I'm doing an additional day in the Birmingham clinic.
✋🏻 This won't mean you're impacted much as I'm still not taking on new horse and dog clients (except in some circumstances), no mobile human patients, and new patients in Frolesworth are also very limited, which enables me to keep on top of my existing human, horse and dog patients, as you will always be my priority over new ones.

🏢 Without over complicating it, I have clinic availability for
FROLESWORTH all day TUES
BIRMINGHAM all day WED, THURS 9am - 1.30pm and SAT 8am - 1pm
🐴🐶👫🏼Horses, dogs, and mobile humans will be in and around those, with hopefully some time to ride my own horses, train my dogs and spend time with Martyn 🐴🐶🕺🏻

Thank you again for your kind comments and messages about Bandi, he was truly one in a million and has left a very large hole, but I'm grateful to have been his human for 19 years ❤️
