Sounds dramatic, but it’s true for so many people I see.

Why Shin Splints Are More Common in Female Runners:

Shin splints aren’t just a shin problem.

Female runners often place more load through the lower leg due to:

• Wider pelvic structure
• Underactive or slow-firing glutes
• Increased inward knee movement
• Greater tibial stress with each step

When the glutes don’t control the hip, the shins take the hit.

The fix?
Single-leg glute activation + better hip control = less shin pain.
