I offer microsuction from my clinic in Burgess Hill and remotely across Mid Sussex. Using the award-winning Tympa Health system, I offer 30-minute ear & hearing health check ups including an ear examination (HD images & video), ear wax removal and hearing screener tests if required. I'm officially accredited by ENT UK, The British Society of Audiology (BSA) and The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA).

My small people have been enjoying summer camps, whilst I’ve kept our microsuction clinics running this week. We’ve jumped on a few opportunities to get out in the fresh air inbetween 👍 without turning our patients away, flexing where we can!

Many of our patients book microsuction ear wax removal prior to a hearing assessment and require a hearing assessment when they struggle to contribute to conversations at the dinner table, due to background noise & hearing loss. I was at Ridgeview Wine Estate in Ditchling today🥂 for a family roast and as far as restaurants go, The Rows & Vine Restaurant is definitely on the calmer, quieter side. It overlooks the beautiful Chardonnay vines and I can highly recommend it 👍

Been out on the road for home visits this morning, shame I didn’t have the time to stop at Jo.Co coffee shop in Balcome. It looked so lovely, all sat out there in the sunshine for brekkie.☀️ I have important work to do, out and about in our community making a difference. Next time!

Did you know I’m the owner of South Downs Ear Care and I also run my own Skincare business. I’m a Team Ambassador for Tropic, as well as a qualified Ear Care Practitioner 💚 My patients often ask me why on earth I chose microsuction ear wax removal as a job! Well, there are SO many reasons I chose this journey and I choose to juggle it alongside Tropic.

I ran a clinic today from 9.30-2.30, picked up my children from summer camp, squeezed an extra microsuction appointment in and now I’m prepping for my 2nd Tropic pamper in 2 days, because I can! I must admit that summer holidays takes the juggle to a whole new level! 🤪

We pride ourselves at South Downs Ear Care on a calm & professional clinic in Burgess Hill with friendly, qualified & experienced staff. We instantly want our patients to feel at ease, many are nervous when having microsuction ear wax removal for the first time, so we want to make their experience as smooth & comfortable as possible. We have parking right outside and we accommodate those with mobility issues; there is a ramp into the building and we are on the ground floor, wheelchair access is easy.

It was beautiful at Ardingly Reservoir today, so nice to be out, getting some steps in before a change in tempo tomorrow! We will be back in the clinic and on the road for microsuction ear wax removal home visits. It’s a busy one but we do still have a few appointments remaining this week if you need one! We see so many patients who use cotton buds in an attempt to clean their ears themselves. We explain that it’s best not to try and remove impacted wax yourself with cotton buds or other objects, as this can push the wax further in and cause damage. Please consult us at South Downs Ear Care, we are healthcare professionals and pride ourselves in safe and effective earwax removal via microsuction using the Tympa Health System! 🙌 We can perform examinations & ear wax removal in one 30-minute appointment. Best to be safe than sorry! 🙏🏼
