Hello my lovely friends of AnnaSeed. In this unusual period of life, I hope you are all managing to keep yourselves safe and healthy?
Isolation is against human nature and whilst some of us are loving it (if only in the short term), some are finding it very difficult. I am a firm believer in healthy mind, healthy body and also if you look after your body, your mind will thank you. The very least you can do for yourself right now is take care of your overall wellbeing. So, I have a few AnnaSeeds of Wisdom to impart, I hope they are helpful to you;
1. Stay in touch with family and friends by phone, video calls or letter/card.
2. Don’t get sucked into the masses of overwhelming info out there, take some time to sit/walk and just be. Use this time, if you can, as an opportunity to reconnect with yourself.
3. Exercise a bit most days, raise your heart rate and give your skin a glow.
4. Fresh air every day. (if you exercise outside you get 2 for the effort of 1!)
5. Be kind to yourself. Send Love and healing out to the world instead of berating yourself with negative self talk and remember your thoughts are not you.
6. Be kind to someone else. It occupies your mind and has been proven to improve happiness, plus it feels great.
7. Be grateful. When you send gratitude out into the world, good things come back to you.
8. Accept those days you feel scared/angry/upset/terrified/emotional and try to just ride that wave until it passes.
9. Stress affects us physically and mentally. Do what your heart needs to stress less. We all know exercise and a good diet can help here but sometimes you need to give the body what it wants too and that may be a glass of wine or some chocolate (ok let’s not kid ourselves, a lot of chocolate!) but I’d suggest you do it with two things in mind. Firstly do it mindfully and don’t use it as an excuse to binge continuously. Secondly, do it with love and don’t beat yourself up for indulging a bit, the effects of the stress involved for that far outweigh the one day overindulgence.
At AnnaSeed I always try to look after people with Love, care and healing. Right now I am sending protective healing and Love out into the world daily and pray that those who are poorly can recover. Imagine if we all did this, what a wonderful energy to would create!
I am also eternally grateful for those who are keeping society going, NHS, those working at supermarkets and other shops, refuse collectors, carers, social care, police and firemen, post staff, delivery drivers, utility workers and so many others. 🌈❤️💜💙💚💛🧡🌈. I have dressed the house in rainbows to honour you all.
I am here for any of you and whilst I can’t physically treat you, I can be a friend, an ear, someone to share feelings with and I can certainly send you Love and healing.
I miss you all and can’t wait to open my doors again and see you and probably give some of you a much needed pummel. In the mean time remember to take each day as it comes and stay positive.
