Pearl loved nothing more than setting off with her daughter in their camper van. Chasing new views. Making memories. Just the two of them.

So for her final journey, she travelled once more in that very van.

Her daughter created the flowers herself. Grew them. Cut them. Arranged them with her own hands.

Not because it had to be done that way. But because it felt right.

No formal hearse. No bought bouquet. Just a mother. A daughter. And one last trip together.

The best goodbyes aren't the ones that look right. They're the ones that feel true.

Because every life is unique.

Two inspiring days in Bournemouth with our CPJ Field Academy trainees, growing skills and confidence to give families the very best care.

At Corpus Christi Church we walked through each step of the journey, knowing there’s never a second chance to get it right. Thank you to Mgr. Nelson for welcoming us and giving us the space to learn.

✨🎶 The day Chartwell Manor was full of song

As part of the National Day of Arts in Care Homes, the Chartwell Manor Choir, created through our Never Alone initiative by community champion Maria Butler, welcomed friends, families and guests to an afternoon of music. Residents were invited to make their own instruments, which they played while singing with the choir.

A highlight was when Lyn, one of the residents, sang Morning Has Broken with Maria. The pride on her face and the smiles across the room said it all.

We were delighted to welcome Greg Smith MP, Mayor of Aylesbury, and Pippa, the High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, who shared the day with us.

Moments like this show how music lifts spirits and brings people together. 💜

A life of service. A story worth telling. A goodbye that says everything.

It was our privilege to serve Emanuel's family, as he served us.

🌻🚜 He was a farmer, rooted in Smallfield's soil and known by every neighbour.

For his final journey, two beloved tractors followed as we travelled through the fields he worked and past the shops he knew, while the community lined the streets.

Two hundred and fifty people gathered to say goodbye, so many that they spilled beyond the walls, paying their respects from outside.

It was a life that touched so many, and a goodbye that filled every space. There’s no one way to say goodbye, only your way.

Because every life is unique. ✨

🐾 Meet Molly & Zara!

At Attree & Kent in Hove, we love getting to know our community, one wagging tail at a time.

Molly the Spoodle (Spaniel Poodle cross) always brightens our day when she pops in for a fuss and a treat. And Zara the Akita? She is basically a glorious cloud of white floof. ☁️

Their owners are even trying to teach them the days of the week, so they do not wait outside looking disappointed on weekends.

Water bowl ready, treats stocked, we are here for all the four-legged visitors! 🐶✨

🎉🎓 Last weekend, we cheered for two of our own.

Rhia Carter from Haine & Son, Polegate, earned her National Funeral Arranging and Administration Certificate, and Amy Matthews, our Funeral Services Manager at Burgess Hill, earned her Diploma in Funeral Directing.

It takes real dedication to reach this point, and that dedication means even better care for every family we serve.

We are so proud of them both. 💜
