✨Things are still happening at Jigsaw OT 🧩
As our new therapy space downstairs nears completion, we’re thrilled to share that we’re not stopping there! 🚧
We’ve now turned our attention upstairs - creating a brand-new assessment space designed to support a calm, focused experience for our clients. Plus, we’re upgrading our office areas to give our wonderful OTs the functional, inspiring space they deserve to do their best work. 💼 🧠 💛
Thank you for your understanding as we continue to provide sessions whilst we grow - we can’t wait to welcome you into our evolving space! 💫

We're grateful to Alison Bennett for Mid Sussex for her continued campaigning against the cuts to the Adoptions & Special Guardianship Support Fund. We'll continue to do all we can to ensure that those who rely on the service are heard.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 On Tuesday afternoon, I hosted a roundtable with some of Mid Sussex's brilliant Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF) service providers. These people provide various forms of therapy and support for adopted and kinship families, as well as those under special guardianship orders.

It was an important meeting which allowed us to discuss our shared concerns about the government's cruel changes to the fund, and what this means for vulnerable children, young people, and their families, as well as the organisations which support them.

They provided me with many valuable insights which will be helpful when preparing for my Backbench Business Debate on the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund in Parliament on the 4th September.

🧩Today we welcomed Alison Bennett for Mid Sussex to Jigsaw OT to discuss the deeply concerning cuts to the Adoption & Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF).
A few of our families shared their first-hand exeperiences, their voices powerful reminders of the vital role therapeutic support plays in the lives of adopted and special guardianship families.
What’s clear: these aren’t just budget lines. These are lifelines - the difference between crisis and connection, isolation and stability. The cuts to the ASGSF are already being felt, and families are calling out for support that is consistent, compassionate and funded.
We’re grateful to Alison for taking the time to listen, and we remain committed to advocating for the children and families who rely on this critical support.

🧩 Staff Well-being day at Jigsaw OT! 🌿 The team took a well-deserved break this week to recharge, reconnect and refocus on what matters most - our amazing group. From mindfulness activities to team bonding and a few healthy treats, it was a day dedicated to wellness, balance and self-care. Putting our team in the best place to support the families we work with. Here’s to prioritising mental health and creating a positive, supportive workplace! 🙌🏻
