Yesterday some of our team stepped into the world of those living with dementia — not just in theory, but through experience.

They gained an eye-opening, first-hand understanding of the challenges faced by people with dementia every day.

From confusion and sensory overload to frustration and vulnerability — this training wasn’t easy. But that’s exactly the point. It’s designed to deepen empathy, improve communication and raise the standard of care we deliver.

We’re proud of our team for embracing the experience and reaffirming their commitment to person-centred, compassionate care. 🌟

We all took so much from precious tours and have been able to use our knowledge to implement some positive changes for our customers living with dementia.

Usually reluctant for support, after many many months of building trust, today we have taken this lady for breakfast and a walk along the sea front.

This may not seem like alot.
